Totally re-vamped The Weighing Room bar in Chester & launched ‘Dirty Dogs & a bit on the side’
A fantastic update of the interior with brilliant urban graffiti by Ejectos – cool tunes from Frank Gioia, retro videos projected on to the bare brickwork
An eclectic mix of cocktails served alongside the ‘eponymous’ Dirty Dogs – I spent a few weeks trying different hot dogs until I gave up & then developed our own recipe, locally smoked all pork dogs – once tasted – never forgotten!!
The Racecourse Association, in conjunction with Great British Racing and 051 Sports Marketing, has named Chester Racecourse Showcase Champion 2013. The Racecourse team received the honour at this evening’s RCA Showcase & Awards, where excellence and innovation across all areas of British racecourses are celebrated.
The title of Showcase Champion recognises overall excellence throughout all aspects of the racecourse, with Chester also winning the Owners’ Experience category.
It’s a fantastic privilege to be involved with the team at Chester Racecourse & to be recognised at a national level
